Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: August 8, 2026 · Effective: August 8, 2026
This policy forms part of the Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses Instant Metal Quote (“IMQ”, the “Service”), operated by Extreme Roofing Solutions, LLC. Where this policy and the Terms disagree, the Terms govern.
1. Who this applies to
It applies to the Customer (the contractor or company holding the account), to every user the Customer invites, and to anyone acting on their behalf. The Customer is responsible for the conduct of the users under its account, including keeping sign-in credentials confidential and removing users who should no longer have access.
2. What the Service is for
IMQ is for preparing, pricing and sharing metal roofing quotes for real projects that you or your company are genuinely bidding, supplying or installing. Use it for that.
3. Things you must not do
Other people’s data. Do not attempt to access another organization’s quotes, projects, customers, pricing or account. Do not attempt to view, guess or enumerate data belonging to any account other than your own, including by manipulating identifiers in a URL or an API request. Do not share a quote link with anyone who has no legitimate reason to see it.
Security. Do not probe, scan or test the security of the Service, defeat or circumvent authentication or rate limiting, or interfere with anyone else’s use of it. Do not upload anything containing malicious code. If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, tell us at info@extremeroofingsolutions.org rather than exploring it further, and give us a reasonable opportunity to fix it before telling anyone else.
Reverse engineering and extraction. Do not copy, decompile or reverse engineer the Service, and do not scrape, bulk-export or systematically harvest its content - in particular pricing, catalog and formula data - by any automated means, or use it to build or train a competing product or a machine-learning model.
Accounts and access. Do not share a single login between people, sell or transfer your account, or resell access to the Service. Each person who uses IMQ needs their own user.
Homeowner information. Only enter a homeowner’s name, contact details or property address when you have a genuine business reason and the right to do so. Do not use the Service to send unsolicited marketing, and do not upload special-category information - health, financial account numbers, government identifiers - which the Service is not built to handle and does not need.
Content and conduct. Do not upload anything unlawful, infringing, defamatory or deliberately false, misrepresent who you are or who you work for, or present an IMQ estimate as something it is not. Do not use the Service to violate any applicable law, including Florida contracting and licensing law.
The support assistant. Do not attempt to manipulate the in-app support assistant into revealing another organization’s data, into acting outside the Service, or into producing content that would breach this policy.
4. Quotes are estimates
A quote produced by IMQ is an estimate based on the measurements, selections and pricing you provide or that your catalog supplies. You are responsible for checking it before you rely on it or give it to a homeowner, and for the accuracy of what you tell your own customers. IMQ does not take payment from homeowners and is not a party to your agreement with them.
5. Fair use of automated features
Some features - measurement-report reading and the support assistant among them - consume credits or have usage limits described at purchase. Do not attempt to evade those limits, and do not automate the Service in a way that places an unreasonable load on it.
6. Reporting a problem
To report misuse, a security issue, or content that breaches this policy, contact info@extremeroofingsolutions.org. Include enough detail for us to find it.
7. What happens if this policy is breached
Depending on what has happened and how serious it is, we may contact you, ask you to stop, remove or disable content, suspend a user or an account, or terminate access under the Terms. Where there is an immediate risk to the Service or to other customers we may act first and tell you afterwards. Where the law requires it, we may report conduct to the relevant authorities. Nothing here limits any other right or remedy available to us.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. When we change it materially we will update the date above and ask you to accept the current Terms next time you sign in.
